The Fintech Cup is a one-day corporate soccer tournament in Miami created exclusively for the fintech and financial services community. The event combines a friendly 5v5 soccer tournament with executive networking, sponsor activations, local food vendors, entertainment, wellness experiences, and interactive soccer technology.
The inaugural Fintech Cup will take place on 10/03/2026 at Soccer Cage Downtown, 128 NE 17th St, Miami, FL 33132. Sponsor and team setup begins at 7:30 AM, team registration opens at 9:00 AM, and the event runs until 3:00 PM.
Companies across the fintech and financial services ecosystem are welcome, including banks, payment companies, technology providers, insurance companies, investment firms, startups, consulting firms, and industry partners.
Yes. The tournament is designed to bring together the entire financial services community through soccer, networking, and shared experiences.
Absolutely. Startups are encouraged to participate and use the event to build relationships, increase visibility, and connect with industry peers.
Register your company through the official Fintech Cup website. Registration is confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 16 teams.
Team and individual registrations close one week before the tournament, or earlier if all team spots are filled.
The registration fee is $1,200 per team and includes up to 10 team members.
Each registered participant receives a Fintech Cup Participant Kit including a string sports bag, an official Fintech Cup 2026 T-shirt, a sports towel, and an aluminum water bottle.
Yes. Individual players are welcome and, subject to availability, will be placed on a team with other individual participants.
Matches are played in a 5v5 format. Teams may register up to 10 players to allow substitutions throughout the tournament.
The competition follows a World Cup-style format with group-stage matches followed by knockout rounds leading to the championship match on two 5v5 soccer fields.
Yes. Companies are encouraged to invite coworkers, family members, friends, clients, and guests to support their teams and enjoy the event.
Yes. Networking happens throughout the day around the soccer fields, the VIP Lounge, sponsor activations, food trucks, and the Small Business Showcase.
Yes. Sponsorship opportunities include Diamond (Title Sponsor), Gold, Silver, and Community Partner packages, along with customized activations tailored to your marketing objectives.
Absolutely. Sponsors are encouraged to create engaging experiences such as giveaways, contests, product demonstrations, and interactive booth activations.
Yes. Companies will have the opportunity to reserve hospitality and VIP experiences. Additional details and reservation information will be announced as these experiences are finalized.
If weather conditions make it unsafe to play, the tournament will be postponed. A new event date will be announced based on Soccer Cage Downtown venue availability.
Teams are encouraged to wear matching company jerseys or athletic apparel, shorts, soccer socks, and turf soccer shoes. Tournament bibs will be provided when needed.
Champion and runner-up teams will receive trophies and medals. Additional prizes, courtesy of participating sponsors, are currently being finalized.
Yes. Accredited media, photographers, and content creators are welcome to request credentials through our Contact page before the event.
